when you get back to a book you’d left untouched for a while and think «oh, she’s still there» (meaning the heroine on the top of the mountain)
first sip of coffee – that aaahhh moment
when a song starts to play that describes that instant perfectly
laughing so hard you can already see the stomach muscle ache coming
when you get the feeling you’ve known someone for years even though you just met
finishing a meal without even remembering the eating part
dropping onto a chair or into bed after a long day and breathing a sigh of relief
when you’re looking at someone and suddenly they turn to look at you
the certainty that the artist is singing her/his song only for you
going through security afraid they might call you out even though you know you don’t have anything forbidden in your luggage
trying to sidestep someone but they move in the same direction as you
a hug so good and genuine you don’t want it to finish, ever
that moment when everything falls into place, like it was just meant to be
waking up after a nap or a long night’s sleep and for a moment not having the slightest clue where you are
someone else saying your thoughts out loud
when you get to the end of the page and realise you don’t remember a thing you just read
the word you were looking for hours ago suddenly popping into your head («oh, shall I text them to tell them I remembered the word?»)
maybe you can relate
maybe I’m cliché
maybe I like being cliché – can you relate to that too?
Exactly my thoughts!… 😉
